All revolutions are great in Kirghizia: both past and future …

The parliament of Kirghizia can safely apply for presence at the Guinness Record Book as a legislature which distinguishes rather original approach to the work.

Here, for example, the deputies have thought recently of how to equip a boardroom. Tone was set by the deputy from fraction “Ar-Namys” (“Advantage”) Akylbek Zhaparov - he has declared that it is necessary to place an inscription “In God we trust” in a hall. Don’t it remind something?! It was difficult to expect other actions from members of parliament at present aspiration of the Kirghiz authorities to follow the advices of the state in all which learns other members of the United Nations of democracy with rather various methods. The same mister Zhaparov has referred for acknowledgement of the correctness to an example of the American congress where the inscription In God We Trust is placed … It is necessary to understand only, why Kirghizia …

The other deputy, already from Social-democratic party of Kirghizia Daniyar Terbishaliev has offered a variant more modestly: “We work for the sake of the people”. And that the work will go well, one more deputy, from fraction “Ar-Namys” too Tursunbay Bakir uulu has urged to establish immediately the lie detector on a parliamentary tribune. The idea is uncommon, but hasn't received support from a management of parliament. They have told that it is technically difficult, moreover it would be required to involve the specialists …

And what plan was ruined by short-sighted colleagues: different officials - ministers, members of the top brass, diplomats make statements in parliament … the Polygraph will judge quickly, who tells truth to the elected representatives of the people and who confuses the issue.

Probably, Tursunbay Bakir uulu has taken offense but hasn't surrendered and has offered, that on that tribune where he wanted to establish the lie detector, one have put three books — the Constitution, the Koran and the Bible.

While it is not known what this undertaking has ended – the deputies of parliament have other problems. They are dissatisfied, for example, with that the local television shows them not how it would be necessary. Deputy Anarbek Kalmatov has told that the television "instead of display of real work of deputies" gives out on the air as the deputies chew a chewing gum and still after all there are shots on which the women-deputies make-up the lips ….

And the head of parliament Akhmatbek Keldibekov has blamed TV men too that they are interested in parliament fights more than the work of members of parliament. It is forbidden to show the elected representatives of the people in not the best state as the children can watch the translations, whom, naturally, the parliament work excites very strongly! The speaker ascertained, "When they look at us, so we are like an example for them"

The deputies’ care of own television image is quite clear – it happens, they fight, but what for what purpose to tell about it….Firstly a member of fraction "Ata-Zhurt" ("Fatherland") Bakhadyr Suleymanov have been beaten. And he has declared that he was beaten by the head of native fraction for refusal to hand over the deputy mandate. However the last one asserts that has beaten nobody, but the case on article “hooliganism” have been already opened … And literally the next day the former general public prosecutor acted in parliament – his speeches weren't pleasant to someone and the next fight happens.

But not nevertheless to fight! There are things which unite. Deputies of parliament have decided that the great event, in which they could take active part, should be necessarily immortalized. To begin with, they decided to name the event so that it corresponded to the high status. And, especially without straining, have confirmed the bill at the first reading immediately in which there was a term "Great April revolution". The specifications here are essentially important – that nobody casually confused with “tulip revolution” of 2005 which has happened on March, 24th. All the more, some years ago the anniversary of “tulip revolutions” in Kirghizia has been declared by an official holiday when Askar Akaev, the predecessor of Kurmanbek Bakiev has been overthrown…

The idea was submitted by the former Minister of Defence Ismail Isakov. Earlier he was one of the companions-in-arms of president Kurmanbek Bakiev, but then he was accused of abusing imperious powers and was put in prison. Isakov has been released after April events and have again appointed to a post of the Minister of Defence. He has thought up that now in an anniversary of nice date exactly at noon beseems to spend minute of silence and even to stop the traffic. At the same time it is necessary to construct a museum devoted to “Great April revolution”.

Though, not all colleagues have agreed with deputy Isakov. There were shy voices that, maybe, it would be better to leave estimations to historians. However the former minister is unshakable, “It is necessary to strike while the iron hot. Therefore it is necessary to give the special status to this day”.

While they “forge” in parliament, the initiatives have appeared, as they say, on places. For example, one of the capital schools has put performance on a theme which so excites a society. The storm of the White house was reproduced at high school number 78 in Bishkek. The building which always was an overall objective of any riot represented the big sheet of paper with the drawn windows. Schoolboys in national headdresses represented the broad masses – they has moved on "the White house", crying out “Bakiev go away!”. Some have fallen, namely the victim of shots... But the rebels, as it should be, have receded!
As one of local authors has witty noticed, “episodes of plunder of the governmental building and capital shops haven't got to performance”...

The school heads have explained that the performance has been made according to the order of the Ministry of Education according to which the schools should organize “actions of patriotic character” and it urged “to bring up the heroism in the pupils”.

It is good when there are the holidays, but how without awards?! And here it is already declared about the establishment of a special badge “Hero of April national revolution” (it is not so clear why “national” instead of “great”?) The President Roza Otunbaeva already has signed the corresponding decree. In the near future the design of badges will be developed - the government is charged with doing of that work.

But it is not enough to give the badges – it is required something grandiose. And here the way out is found – the deputies have spent the ritual on exile of evil ghosts from a building in which they sit.
It is not so simple to expel the spirits – therefore they have arranged the sacrifice. As the local mass-media inform, seven rams were killed; but there is no information where particularly the procedure has passed…

But it is known that 700 soms (it is approximately 15 dollars) have been deducted from the salary of each deputy on carrying out of ritual of evil ghosts exile (probably, the evil ghosts of Akaev and Bakiev…). It is necessary to wait, in which side the atmosphere will change in a building of parliament of Kirghizia. Perhaps they will stop to fight …
