«People have to receive an accurate signal from those who assumed responsibility for all events in our region that not only Kiev and not only the western areas are in Ukraine.

In Ukraine there are such regions as the Kharkov, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Lugansk areas, the Crimea where pity attempts to loosen a situation completely fail. If we don’t stop today the process of escalation of opposition in our society if today those destructive forces which conduct our society by the appeals to civil war, to opposition in our society, we, unfortunately, receive split of our state exactly across the Dniepr. Have we the right to allow it? I consider that not.

I consider that in society all opportunities for quiet dialogue aren’t exhausted and to separate those who skims for himself the events today in Kiev, and those who will involve in this opposition, coming to squares only for participation in peace actions», told Mikhail Dobkin.

According to the governor, the ultras of two clubs arranged provocation with attack on employees of «Golden eagle» in Kiev: Kiev «Dynamo» and Lvov «Carpathians».
The chairman of the Kharkov regional council Sergey Chernov noted that the politicians who brought people to streets, can’t supervise themselves and a large number of people on the area.

«They call for escalation, violation of the constitutional system, an All-Ukrainian strike», noted Chernov.

According to him, yesterday in Kiev he saw how the cars of the emergency help couldn’t pass to hospitals.

«We won’t allow that in Kharkov the work of public institutions, the municipal enterprises were broken that people couldn’t reach for work», noted Chernov noted.

«I support the European integration, a course of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet action on situation stabilization in the country.

In Kharkov there is the working situation now, people came to work and adequately estimate the events in the country. For those who don’t understand, we collect sessions and conduct explanatory work. And nobody is going to discuss introduction state of emergency about which there is unreasonable hearing.

I address to Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and „Svoboda“: you want to check us on durability? We are ready, in any format — on a ring, with a sweeper or in speeches. We don’t interfere with you to hold a meeting, but the meetings on Freedom square where there is a preparation to the New Year are forbidden by a judgment, by a name of Ukraine», noted the mayor Gennady Kernes.

«The latest disturbing events of political life in Ukraine force the Kharkov regional council, the supreme representative body of the region, to declare concern about escalation of political opposition.

It is a pity that the far-sighted steps directed on protection of national interests made by the state management, by some hotheads were used as a reason for kindling of serious passions on streets and in minds of people.

We share aspiration of our fellow citizens to join the European community, with its welfare, democracy and respect for laws, but without a rupture of economic relations with the Russian Federation, the countries of the Customs Union, other partners, sustainable economic development of Ukraine and welfare of its citizens depends on interaction with it. We respect a constitutional law of each citizen on free will and peaceful assemblies. At the same time we condemn all provocative actions bearing threat to life and human health, cause damage to national economy and the international image of our state and can be estimated as attempt to overthrow the constitutional system.

All circumstances of the annoying events, which have occurred in the capital of our state, have to be carefully checked by law enforcement agencies. But all our society should draw conclusions. Initiators of mass actions have to realize experience of history and level of the responsibility and to what consequences it can lead the division of people on „their“ and „others“.

On the contrary, the process of any integration demands society consolidation for the sake of the uniform purpose.

We call all political parties and public organizations to unite round national interests, not to excite society and not to force tension in labour collectives and educational institutions, to adhere to legality and an order, not to allow blocking of public institutions and the enterprises which provide the area activity.

The extremism never was supported of a general population of Kharkovshchyna in all political processes of a rough latest era. Results of election campaigns prove that the First capital trusts responsible politicians, consecutive in the actions and the state approach.

The Kharkov regional council considers that the aspiration to the European future has to unite Ukraine and its people, to be a basis for constructive public dialogue and mutual understanding».
