Moldova: the people have to choose the future!

The round table “European integration: the international experience and prospects for Moldova”, organized by social movement “Homeland – the Eurasian Union” passed in Kishinev. Deputies of parliament of Moldova, leaders of political parties, heads of public organizations took part in its work. On a round table the total resolution was adopted:
Resolution of the International round table “EUROPEAN INTEGRATION: The INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PROSPECTS FOR MOLDOVA”
The International round table “European integration: the international experience and prospects for Moldova”, aimed at carrying out of the versatile and many-sided analysis of the European prospects of the Republic of Moldova successfully took place.
During the work of a round table, the participants, having analyzed the positive and negative sides of the European way of development of the Republic of Moldova, and, in particular, the initialing of the Agreement of Moldova planned for November, 2013 about the associated membership and Contracts on a free trade zone with the European union, expressed the following:
1. Having considering that initialing of the Agreement on the associated membership and Contracts on a free trade zone with the European Union affect the constitutional, civil, economic and spiritual and moral laws of all inhabitants of the Republic of Moldova, the participants of a round table consider that such major for the sovereign state and the multinational people of Moldova integration initiatives have to be accepted not by group of deputies of temporarily ruling parties or the interested officials, but the society - by extensive public discussion with decision-making within a national referendum (with the obligatory account, in connection with the current circumstances, opinions of inhabitants of Transnistria and Gagauzia);
2. Participants of a round table consider that the principle of economic feasibility, historical and spiritual continuity has to be the main principle of the solution of a question of a choice of a way of further development of Moldova and the decision on accession to one of integration projects.
The concern is stated that the European community tries to impose the freedom of homosexuality, prostitution, drug addiction and the other human defects having a wide circulation in a number of the states of the European Union to the people of Moldova in the majority dividing orthodox belief and attitude (according to population census in 2004 93,3% of the population of Moldova carried themselves to orthodox Christians). It was underlined that for orthodox citizens of Moldova similar free and broad interpretation of human rights is unacceptable and contradicts historically developed cultural and cultural wealth of the people of Moldova;
3. Participants of a round table stated special concern by that fact that the choice of the European vector of the development of Moldova can result in need of the entry of Moldova in the military block of NATO that doesn't correspond to the interests of the peace population of the multinational country and the principles of the Supreme law of the country – Constitution of the Republic of Moldova;
4. Participants of action consider that the actions of the top management of the Republic undertaken under the pressure of the European officials without opinion of all Moldavian people and furthermore without opinion of inhabitants of the Dniestr region, can have serious international, political and social and economic consequences and to lead the country to disintegration;
5. In the performances the participants of a round table emphasized that undoubtedly the expedient way of successful development of the Republic of Moldova, proceeding from historical, cultural, economic, religious and geopolitical preconditions, is directly connected with strengthening of the relations with the historical friend of Moldova – Russia and orientation of a vector of political movement of the country needs to be accented in the direction of Customs and further the Eurasian Union.
As a result of extensive public discussion the following DECISIONS were made by participants:
1. Taking into account the current adverse economic and social situation of the Republic of Moldova and an urgent need in realization of a complex of the effective measures aimed at the development of economic and human capacity of the republic, on significant improvement of quality of life of all population of the country, the participants of a round table noted importance of activization of socioeconomic interaction between the Republic Moldova and the states entering into the Customs Union. For this purpose it is offered to create PUBLIC INTEGRATION COUNCIL from the experts of Kishinev, Beltsy, Tiraspol, Komrat and other cities within the limits of the independent movement “Homeland – the Eurasian Union”.
It is defined that for the purpose of acceleration of the Eurasian integration processes in Moldova by the forces of Public integration council at close interaction with expert communities of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan it would be expedient to develop the draft of the Action program on the Eurasian integration of Moldova, taking into account the economic, financial, public, migratory, religious, cultural, information and other aspects.
It is noted that it is expedient to define as one of tasks of the created Public integration council the carrying out of the complex comparative analysis of the European and Eurasian integration prospects of the Republic of Moldova (first of all, in a social and economic cut), with the publication and an explanation of expert conclusions in national and international mass media, at meetings and descents of inhabitants of the republic and other mass actions.
2. Emphasizing the importance of involvement of wide circles of the population of the Republic of Moldova, including the inhabitants of Transnistria and Gagauzia, in process of discussion of strategy of the state development for the short-term and long-term periods, the participants of a round table counted as the extremely important to organize and carry out in Moldova, in the first days of November, 2013 (approximate date is on November 4), the National Day of National Unity during which, the national representatives of the population of all territory of the country could state the position about occurring events in the country, and also define the mechanism of carrying out the National referendum about a choice of the further integration direction of development of the Republic of Moldova.
For the purpose of ensuring carrying out in the Republic of National Day of National Unity it is decided to create the special organizing committee including the prominent representatives of public structures, clergy, historians, economists and representatives of mass media from all territory of the Republic of Moldova.
The resolution is adopted by absolute majority of participants voices of the International round table.
