The Georgian interests are also in Moldova…

Ministry of the foreign affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze, apparently, due to lack of more actual problems of his department, has decided to discourse on the withdrawal of the Russian military forces from the territory of... Transdniestria. And he has done it in florid, east style: “The day, when the Russian military forces will leave Transdniestria, and the continuity of Moldova will be restored, will be very happy and gala day for Georgia, as a friend and ally of Moldova”.

The Minister chose this kind of style one simple reason: “It will be as example that the occupation forces will leave the occupied territories sooner or later”. It is good news for those, who consider Abkhazia and South Ossetia as integral part of Georgia and who grieve because of shamefully fallen blitzkrieg…
But the hope is alive, as a matter of fact, no other than the president of Georgian republic Mikhail Saakashvili has announced publically that “conquerors will become extinct and vaporize from our land”.

Opportune, the problems of Moldova republic are taken to heart by Saakashvili for a long time too. As he said once - he holds in esteem to both Moldova and its people ever since the time of his military service in Soviet Army together with Moldavian comrade-in-arms…

Acting president of Moldova, Mikhail Gimpu awarded republic Order to Saakashvili, when the one visited the republic last year. In the Obilen village of Hinchetsky region that suffered from the flood, the new street got the name Gruzinskaya. It is a good cause to help those, who are in deep water. Ten houses on the Gruzinskaya Street are being built with the financial help of Georgia for those people, who were left without a roof over their heads. During the meeting with the inhabitants of the Obilen village, Mikhail Saakashvili has promised that Georgia also will help to build a kindergarten, and in school one of the classes will be equipped by state-of-the-art technology.

And further the famous lines come to mind: “Ostap started to cast beyond the moon”… What could the president of Georgia tell in addition? Of course, it was about the fast aspiration come in the bright democratic world and fewer than all like it – the enemies of democratic Georgia spin intrigues archly. But there is the example for Georgia - and it is the republic of Moldova. Whereat Saakashvili imparted, while receiving the award: “History brought us together, bad and good moments and in addition – common European future…

No one has more chances than Moldova. We root for you. Your success will draw the success of Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus. We will follow in your track. You had experienced a lot of things, but you have historical chance…

Two presidents: Mikhail Saakashvili and Mikhail Gimpu have visited the international hostel in Anaklia village on Black Sea shore, where the children from Georgia, Moldova and Belarus take a rest. Here the Georgian president has noted the most important once again: “Moldova is the country that is very similar to Georgia. We have the same problems, but now, Moldova finally found its policy, direction”.

With policy everything is good: both Georgia and Moldova are independent countries at present time, but there is one hitch – they are not “territorially free” fully. The reason is well known: “the part of the territories is located in old Soviet zoological garden”. It has been found that, not everyone come round to opinion as to such situation assessment in Moldova. For example, the famous journalist, the candidate for the deputy of the parliament on the roll of Humanistic party, Dmitry Chubashenko sent to Mikhail Gimpu the Order of Republic. The journalist abandoned the Order in the protest of rewarding the one to… Mikhail Saakashvili.

The Executive Office of the President of Moldova has received registered small parcel with the Order and award certificate, together with the statement, in which Dmitry Chubashenko confirmed officially that he abandons the state reward. He has explained the reasons of such funky in the simplest terms: “I don’t want to have the same Order, which Saakashvili has, Saakashvili carries out the anti-Russian policy and he triggered off war in both South Ossetia and Abkhazia”.

Chubashenko has highlighted that Saakashvili activities “further deteriorate the relations between Moldova and Russia, further aggravate the relations between the right and left banks of Dnestr River”. And the following conclusion comes from it– “I don’t want to share the same Order with this provocateur”

About the different banks of Dnestr River, figuratively speaking, Saakashvili couldn’t speak out anything. And in the interview of one of the Moldavian TV channels he has demonstrated once again that “delightful condition”, which was described by I’lf and Petrov once upon a time. The president of Georgia has annunciated the Transdniestria as “dark hole” of Europe no less, no more! Moreover, Euro Union is not needed in it… Further, certainly, he has reminded that both Moldova and Georgia must redintegrate their territorial integrity. However, for some reason he didn’t try to specify in which way he on the basis of his “democratic” approaches has tried to resolve this problem and what has come from it….

It is notable that the leader of Humanistic party of Moldova Valery Passat has named the Moldavian visit of Mikhail Saakashvili as provocation. He thinks that Saakashvili has decided to support the “anti-Russian course of liberals and democrats authorities”. After all, exactly, the governing body of the ruling alliance launched the appeal to the NATO block with the request to give a helping hand: to resolve the conflict and withdraw the Russian military troops from the Transdniestria. For the most, they are like an eyesore there and this eye does not see everything, but only the things that it wishes to see…

The Moldavian politician has explained: “In the same manner, Saakashvili acted in Georgia. We can see the results of it: new armed conflict, calamity of hundreds of people, full abruption of Georgian-Russian relations and Georgian loss of its territories. We don’t need such “experience” of conflict management”.

More importantly, Valery Pasat has stated that he has authoritative information that during the electoral campaign, Moldova was visited not by scores but hundreds of emissaries from Georgia. Because of that there are quite a lot of question to both them and the governing alliance:
“These emissaries room in Kishinev, constantly they cruise by buses in Ukraine, by airplanes in Istanbul, Vienna, Rome, Kiev, St. Petersburg – and back. What are these “revolutionaries” looking for in Moldova? Why were emissaries of legionnaire organizations from Romaine activated again?”

Most of the Moldavian people have the answers concerning these questions, as well as the answer to the main question is. As early as 2006, philosopher Arcady Maller wrote the article “Transdniestria and Georgia are as the antipodes of the orthodox civilization”. In this article he exactly diagnosed the Saalashvili regime since before the tragedy in South Ossetia: “If the Transdniestria has proved its allegiance to orthodox civilization and made the declaration of love to Russia, then the state – Georgia, thanks to Saakashvili, sold the pass of our civilization and made the declaration of hatred of us. Both Moldova and Georgia have the similar problems – Mikhail Saakashvili”.
