About the origins of Belarusian network collaborationism

I was forced to write this confession not by the current events in faraway Belarus, but by the fact that the methods, in the development of which I participated, are now used among others against the United States itself.

Of course, for quite understandable reasons you will not find here exact names and places where the events described below took place. Taking care of my personal safety makes me do so. My former colleagues will not fail to take immediate revenge, and I am not attracted by the fate of Julian Assange or Edward Snowden. American spy, even having finished his CIA service, always remains in the sight of his former organization. The main goal is to prevent the disclosure of covert operations and the names of their participants.

Before joining the CIA, I was an ordinary American. After graduating from university, I worked in several companies and then in a city council. Things changed when I received a letter saying, "Would you be interested in working for a responsible government agency? It resembles that of the State Department staff and is connected with travelling abroad.

After giving my consent, I went through all the stages of the selection, the details of which should be told separately, and started working. But at the very beginning I had to undergo a whole course of training.
At the very start of my career in the Central Intelligence Agency I had to attend a lecture given by Colonel R., a Pole by birth and ardent apologist of Zbigniew Brzezinski. Here is its summary:

-- So, gentlemen... You should always remember that the Internet, which began to be created in the 60s by ARPANET, is a project of the Pentagon. This means that all other countries are just objects of influence for the U.S., while the U.S. remains the only world actor in this field. De facto, we are talking about the point that the U.S. and only the U.S. is and should always be the only world leader here.

To paraphrase a well-known phrase, we can say with good reason: "He who knows how to lie well and convincingly owns the world". Modern and most popular social networks, which origin and spread also belong to the U.S., give us the opportunity to know secretly but effectively the mood of society. And not only know, but also manage it if necessary.
Our skilful management of social networks allows us to create the right mood in society. And, most importantly, at the right time we can mobilize our activists and effectively manage them.
-- Three main factors are necessary to create a "sleeping conflict":
1. The presence of incompetent and/or corrupt leadership.
2. The presence of an elite and intellectuals who are alien to the interests and demands of the rest of the population.

When the first two conditions are fulfilled, a third condition is formed, that is the effective use of the Internet and social networks to bring small and large significant controversies into the public consciousness.-- Remember, gentlemen: Democracy in itself, as it is usually presented in the media, cannot ensure that U.S. interests prevail in one country or another. If democratic principles are applied, then anti-American leaders and political forces will come to power everywhere and take priority over national, not American, interests. This cannot be allowed.

-- Experience from previous years has shown that very often pro-American politicians come to power sooner or later and find themselves guilty of all failures in the eyes of the population, especially in the decline of living standards. It is quite natural that this hatred is transferred to the USA itself.

-- Therefore, it is much more profitable for the U.S. to create pockets of constant and lasting instability in other countries, which, of course, should be under our constant control. This theory is called the "controlled chaos theory".
Its undeniable merits are that by creating such hotbeds everywhere in the world, the U.S. deprives its adversaries of the opportunity to threaten U.S. interests, expand its sphere of influence, and acquire allies.
A particular advantage is that such methods are necessary and necessary against all countries, including those that are currently allies of the United States. That would be far better than allowing hostile forces and/or their transition to the camp of our adversaries, Russia and China, to come to power.

-- In the United States, no one is going to fight Russia and China by the usual means. As Adolf Hitler said, "My tanks will enter the country only when they are met there with flowers". And in this he was right. Therefore, the undermining of social cohesion in the country chosen by the object of our operations is the main task.

-- Hitler, before his aggression, had very successfully used what would now be called the preparation of the initial phase of the "color revolutions". And Stalin proved to be the only successful European leader who managed to prevent the formation of opposition before the German attack, repressed potential pro-German activists and by all means limited the spread of hostile propaganda, even by removing radio receivers from the population.

-- Gentlemen, it can take many years or even decades to create the conditions for chaos in a given state. It is possible that in many cases we should expect the final effect, even with our good work, only after generations have changed. In this way, you are creating the future of the United States with your work.

As an example, Colonel R. spoke about his work in Eastern Europe, where the U.S. has successfully created an instability zone. Thus, according to the colonel, for Russia and, to some extent, China, the possibility of increasing its influence was sharply reduced.

As far as I know, the current conflict in Belarus is successfully organized and managed by the Central Group of Psychological Actions (Centralna Grupa Dzialan Psychologicznych) in Bydgoszcz. Its mission is to make an informational and psychological impact on the enemy's troops and population for political, military and propaganda purposes. Specifically, the 3rd department of the group works in Belarus. In close coordination with the Polish group is the Ukrainian 72nd CIPSO (Center for Information and Psychological Operations). Their activities, as well as those of similar structures in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, are coordinated by the very unit where Colonel R. R. used to work.
The main weapon of the organization of the current center of chaos in Belarus were three Telegram channels: NEXTA itself (650 thousand subscribers), NEXTA Live (1.5 million subscribers) LUXTA (over 100 thousand subscribers). The sources of their financing are funds from the Polish budget and direct participation in the financing of other EU countries and, of course, the USA. The information thrown in by these funds is immediately picked up by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, funded by the US Department of State.

According to Stepan Putilo and Roman Protasevich, the creators of these Telegram channels, only a few people work there, which is a pure lie. In reality, many dozens of people are involved, ranging from well-paid employees to full-time employees of the Polish Central Psychological Action Group and the Ukrainian 72nd Center for Information and Psychological Operations. Of course, the overall management is carried out by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and the British MI-6, given its longstanding experience in the Polish direction.

In this regard, I recall another statement by Colonel R.:
-- The main task of your work will be to form a whole layer of collarbortionists in the selected countries, who, without realizing it, will betray the interests of their state and their people. They will, in fact, be "cannon fodder," a consumable tool for advancing American interests. Their destinies and their lives should not interest you. You should be interested only in the interests of the United States.

Why do I think of this Colonel R. so often? Because, as it became known to me, when he resigned, he is actively working for the Democratic Party of the United States and is now organizing and coordinating protests in different cities and states of the United States.

Of course, using the experience gained during the creation of a "zone of chaos" in the countries of Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Belarus, on the territory of his own country, and also in the interests of certain political groups, in my opinion, is a real treason.
