All Greek Orthodox Union against Patriarch Bartholomew

This man, who has put the power of money above Jesus, who calls himself “Ecumenical Patriarch” instead of serving God and Mother Church, divides and provokes conflicts in the world Orthodoxy.

Now Bartholomew's grabby hands have reached Hellada, where he forces the church hierarchs to recognize the non-canonical so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”. But Fanar’s sidekick met fierce resistance on the shores of the Aegean Sea.

Thus, the members of the All Greek Orthodox Union, clergy and lay people demanded the court to overturn the decision of the Council of Bishops of Church of Greece to recognize “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”.

This Greek public organization considers that the Council of Bishops of Church of Greece made the decision on October 12, 2019, having violating the necessary procedures: the Greek hierarchs did not vote for the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and, accordingly, did not support the decision by a majority of votes.

Under threats and direct pressure from Fanar, the Blessed Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos forced to take the decision of the Council of the hierarchy in the Church of Greece to recognize the so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” as divisive. This decision was not taken by the vote of the Episcopate, as it should be, but secretly.

There is no official document with the signatures of Greek archpastors that can be considered the evidence of a single council decision of the Local Church. Moreover, the news that the Church of Greece recognized the Ukrainian autocephaly was spread very quickly, which does not correspond to the text of the communiqué or the position of many participants of the Council. By the way, Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythira, Metropolitan Simeon of New Smyrna, Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra, Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus and other archpastors immediately declared about it.

The participants of the Union note the Greek media are silent about this event in general as if following instructions from Constantinople, deliberately hiding the problem of division and split in Greek Orthodox society.

At the end of last year, one of the principal opponents of “new church” of Ukraine, Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus, stated that the Orthodox Church of Ukraine is a “church” that does not exist from the canonical point of view, consisting of canonical violators, anathematized false priests.

“Of course, it should be recognized by the All-Orthodox Council, which, through the works of the Blessed Primates of the Holy Orthodox Autocephalous Churches, directed to His Eminence the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, should be convened to solve this seemingly difficult problem as soon as possible, which, unfortunately, no one puts on a real canonical basis,” wrote the hierarch of the Church of Greece.

Lord Seraphim drew the attention of his readers to the fact that the creation of the OCU is an anti-Orthodox geopolitical project.

“The Orthodox Church was involved in the Ukrainian issue, as from time to time it is evidenced by the statements of U.S. government leaders with the first in their series Minister for Foreign Affairs Mike Pompeo’s congratulations on granting autocephaly to the so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”. “It is unprecedented event: the U.S. Secretary of State congratulates for a purely church action”, - notes the hierarch of the Church of Greece.

Finally, he asked whether the Synodal Commission on Dogmatic and Canonical Issues had taken all the above into account.

“Has the Synodal Commission on Inter-Orthodox and Inter-Christian Relations studied the consequences of this invalid autocephaly recognition, as it was explained at the Permanent Holy Synod, the consequences of the obvious canonical mistake of the honest Universal Patriarchate and a certain reaction of the Moscow Patriarchate to stop the church communication with the Church of Greece and the possible recognition of another religious “structure” in Greece, which is already communicating on the other side of border in America with the Russian Church of the former Synod in Karlovci?

According to the position of the hierarch of the Church of Greece, “conclusion that comes out according the Ukrainian Church is that the Holy and Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate wrongly and without canonical competence has returned the Holy Order and made a final decision on the former clerics of another church body, the Russian Church, changing and cancelling the decisions of the Patriarchal Council without proper jurisdiction.

Metropolitan Nektarios of Tamasos and Orinis (Markopoulos) of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus said that “Orthodox Church of Cyprus did not recognize Metropolitan Epiphanius (Dumenko), who was appointed the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Constantinople and remains in eucharistic relations only with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and its Primate in the person of Blessed Metropolitan Onufriy of Kiev and All Ukraine”.

And the brethren of the Philotheou Athos monastery the archimandrite Stefan left the service, which was attended by the representative of the OCU, namely the Bishop of Olvia Epiphanius (Dimitriou).

All these and other events related to the forced recognition of “Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” indicate that Bartholomew loses authority among the canonical Orthodox churches as “first among equals”.
