— During military operations you repeatedly faced the Ukrainian divisions. What can you tell about their preparation?
What they can have preparation if they are afraid?! Any training of any soldier if he is a coward means nothing. They are afraid of direct collisions as cowards, fire from «Grad» and mortars, but direct clash enter very seldom. And they are no soldiers because they not fired, young, they have no military experience. For all history of Ukraine when it became independent, it had no army. It led to that except absence of all moral spirit, the Ukrainian soldiers practically have even no elementary preparation.
Of course, they have certain special groups, for example, the 74th separate reconnaissance battalion from Novograd-Volynsk, the trained contract employees from «Desna» who have a fighting experience both in Iraq and in Sierra Leone. But it isn’t enough of them and at the beginning of all operations, even in the summer the majority of them were lost. In this regard the ratio of losses of militiamen and the Ukrainian army during fights averages one to ten. Of course, such losses lead to even bigger demoralization by the Ukrainian of army and, in turn, to even big losses.
— In August there was a powerful counterattack during which the militiamen reached almost Mariupol. In your opinion, if peace negotiations didn’t begin, how far the strengths of militiamen could promote?
Mariupol would be taken, but there would be very big losses both from our party and Ukraine. It isn’t enough that remained from the city. As the Ukrainian chasteners are the cowards, most likely, they would settle somewhere in nearby settlements where there are a lot of people and from there would already fire from howitzers, mortars and «Grad». The victims among civilians and military would be very big.
It is standard tactics of the Ukrainian army which isn’t considered with losses among civilians and even aspires to that they were as much as possible more likely.
— How do you estimate the present level of preparation of Novorossiya army? What isn’t enough?
There is no the simplest — warm things, food, medicines. All this arrives in insufficient quantity. Army already is very big, but resources are insufficient. Therefore the question of providing staff is particularly acute very much. Besides we also help civilians because any soldier if sees that nearby the old man starves or the small child, he will surely share the food.
-How much do the scales of war crimes great from the Ukrainian army in relation to civilians?
There is a lot of such examples. In LNR any territory seized by chasteners first of all causes suspicion. Any civilian, who spoke against, became a traitor at once and was exposed to repressions. They very strongly scoff at people — torture, rape, kill. Kill slowly and very cruelly.
— What known operations of a militia do you consider as one of the most successful?
They were much. For example, a railway column with tanks — all structure was derailed, a lot of manpower is destroyed. It was one of the most successful operations, including on the demoralizing effect. It was around Debaltsevo on the railway bridge. Our guys, saboteurs worked and successfully performed this operation. A lot of equipment — about 20 tanks, about 1000 soldiers, completely all column with staff was destroyed.
