The flaming Donbass

My darling, long-suffering krai, the krai of toilers and patriots. But here once again the destiny decided to test you for durability. How many times for your history the overseas aggressors seeking to win you, to subordinate the people living on your open spaces came to these lands. And every time, having broken the teeth on you, the hordes of foreigners licking the wounds were rolled away from your boundaries.
But this time one of the most difficult tests fell to your lot: «native» Ukrainian army acted as the invader which on the means earned by your heavy work, does everything to wipe your cities and villages off the map, to destroy the plants and factories, hospitals and schools created by work of many generations. And, above all it wants to expel millions of inhabitants from your lands, to destroy hundreds of thousands who remained, who didn’t want or couldn’t leave. And because you dared to go against fascist Kiev, having disagreed with junta, which seized the power by force.
From the very beginning of history of modern Ukraine you were as the stepson at Mother to who had the role of the dumb farm labourer by its governors doomed to an earning of material benefits for the mother country by hard work and who was disfranchised.
All years of independence the Centre knocked into the heads of nationally correct Ukrainians that Donbass is occupied by outcasts, untalented persons, drug addicts the destiny of whom is to work stupidly at mines, metallurgical and chemical plants, to survive in the conditions of environmental disaster. The most important that this cattle transferred the earned hryvnias and dollars to Kiev on the maintenance of ideologically correct regions in time.
All these years the myth about dependence on subsidies of Donbass, about its otioseness and lameness was formed. Can to be people who aren’t sharing the ideas of terry nationalism and ideals of fascist OUN-UPA be equivalent citizens of independent Ukraine which spreads democracy by the blood of the fellow citizens and hurries in the EU with great strides.
Using that inhabitants of the region in wave of political passions on the Maidan because of the tolerance which was perceived by the authorities as political passivity, continued to work and strengthen the economic power of Ukraine, the belief was created at the authorities that you shouldn’t reckon with opinion of the population of the East of the country. After all it is not the people, they are submen as the Prime minister Yatsenyuk spoke concerning the citizens of the Southeast.
Therefore the shy and then more and more mass meetings of a protest of Donbass inhabitants against results of the Maidan and the politicians who seized power in the country with the requirement of federalization of the country and giving of the status of the second state language to the Russian became a bolt from the blue in the beginning for Kiev. But who heard them?
The participants of putsch who seized power in Ukraine by force didn’t even consider necessary to arrive to the multimillion region and to listen to opinion of his inhabitants. Instead of reasonable dialogue, that there is nobody to talk in Donbass, the force language was chosen: mass arrests of activists, stealing and intimidation of participants of protest actions began by repressions. But new leaders came to take place of the arrested and more and more people came to squares. And Poroshenko, Parubiy, Tymoshenko went to Donbass with mission to intimidate or bribe the leaders of the protest movement of the East of the country. But nobody began to communicate with them.
Then Kiev carried out a demonstrative action in Odessa of intimidation on punishment over dissidents in the Trade Unions Building. More than one hundred women, children, old men were brutally killed under lenses of ten video cameras and bawling out of toasts by fascist fighters for the sake of Ukraine. And these bad people didn’t even hide the faces, being promoted on death of the innocent victims.
But, contrary to plans of directors of a slaughter, the effect was absolutely opposite the expected. Having seen the real faces of new governors of Ukraine and their supporters and having protecting themselves, the people took up the arms that caused the extremely negative reaction in Kiev.
One matter when «heroes» in the Western Ukraine took military arsenal, crushed the office buildings and security agencies: it was manifestation of patriotism and testified to aspiration of putsch participants to democratic freedom. And absolutely other matter is when «cattle mass» from the East suddenly raised the head and decided to arm.
How so: the destiny of Donbass is silently to plow for the Ukrainian misters. And suddenly aspiration to declare the civic stand and it is already the terrorism and violation of laws which the junta suddenly feverishly began to remember after cynical rape of the Constitution of Ukraine. Right there the labels of terrorists and separatists were hung on all citizens of two rebellious areas, irrespective of sex and age, they were declared as enemies of Ukraine and put for a framework of laws.
According to junta, the dialogue with the enemy is possible only in weapon language. The main participant of Maidan Turchynov declared about the carrying out of anti-terrorist operation in Donbass and involvement of all arsenal of Armed Forces of Ukraine against the peace people.
In the beginning the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use small arms against unarmed people firstly gingerly, similar to the small pilferer, with caution on the transatlantic owner. But, having got silent support of the West which was earlier hysterically crying out concerning prevention of use of the armed force by Yanukovych against protesters of the Maidan, the junta began to fire at the cities from mortars, large-caliber artillery, systems of volley fire, to bomb by aircraft.
For the first time in world history the own army with maniacal persistence destroys the region of the country forming economic independence of the state: Donbass gave 23% of currency receipts in the budget of Ukraine and formed 19% of GDP. Thus hypocrisy of governors of the independent Ukraine reads off scale: they declare with indignation that Donbass reduced payments in the budget and it negatively affects the prospects of receiving financial aid by Ukraine from the West and detains the prompt movement of the country in the EU.
Having destroying the East economy by hands of Ukrainian nationalists the citizens who are crying out that they, bearing the world, arrived to Donbass on tanks to exempt its inhabitants from the Russian aggressors and to return them to a bosom of great Ukraine, ideologists of a Maidan are covered with the slogan about the uniform country. Though about what unity there can be a speech when the hands of «liberators» are stained with blood of children, women and old men of the Southeast up to the shoulders. But it excites very few people…
Thanks to the Ukrainian mass media the death of the compatriots causes not compassion, but affection in the majority at fellow citizens. What it was necessary to make with consciousness of the Ukrainians that even the mothers of soldiers sent for fratricidal war demanded from the government not of the immediate termination of murders of the sons, but for providing their children with bullet-proof vests and heavy arms.
It can testify that this state doesn’t see Donbass in the structure any more or that the people who seized power in the country understand themselves as temporary one the main thing for whom is to fill the pockets for short term and further destiny of the country is a blank space for them.
