Toktogul Kakchekeev: there would be no revolution and cooperation should be strengthened!

At the request of our portal one of the most famous political scientists of Kyrgyzstan Toktogul Kakchekeev has commented on results of the Round table which took place in Yerevan «Challenges of „Kiev Maidan“ as the most important factor of region destabilization».

- In Kyrgyzstan the integration is perceived kindly favourable. All are excited by only one question in general: when we would be included into the Eurasian Economic Union at last? I can tell that exactly thanking to pressing of the president Atambayev, this question got under a way a little which the people in the republic so waited. The first package of necessary documents is already accepted and the second now is just considered in parliament. The president rigidly told that in December all necessary has to be made from our party without fail.

Many have monitored the population — both government structures and pro-American; also it turned out that 85−87% of the population of Kyrgyzstan support the introduction in the Customs Union and integration strengthening. And today the republic see that our foodstuff can be sold in Russia for the good price — this production differs in high quality and will find demand with guarantee.

Today both in the Ministry of Economy and in parliamentary circles say that our food and production of light industry have to return on sales markets along an open corridor within the Customs Union, so traditional for us. It is a question of that Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic delivered the production within the Soviet Union from the Urals to the Far East.

- In Kyrgyzstan various experts regularly foretell the next «colour» revolution. What is the situation today?

- Any revolution isn’t prepared in Kyrgyzstan. Our power and opposition already traded places twice and the rating of figures from the circle of «revolutionaries» in republic is almost equal to zero. But certainly, money does the part. In Kyrgyzstan there are 4000 non-governmental organizations — the West provides the protege with means on whom it counts very much.

- The position of the president of the republic Almazbek Atambayev is clear and what is it possible to tell about political elite?

- Everything already has crystallized — the position is developed and it will be put into practice. It is also clear that nine deputies of parliament representing the South of the republic will act against. For example, Ismail Isakov is the chairman of parliamentary committee on defence and safety: he is the member of ruling, «presidential» party, but doesn’t agree with opinion of the president. Ravshan Jeenbekov also actively opposes a course on rapprochement with Russia. But who will begin to listen to them? All know that the same Isakov is accused of plunder of public funds and the apartment giving to the son who is in America …

The southern elite always liked to say that supposedly the North sold itself toRussia and only it is the true keeper of idea of independence for a long time. Even the Khanate of Kokand was remembered … Simply some idiotic arguments are adduced —you won’t pick up other word. But this line is constantly supported by the USA. The American ambassador regularly goes to the south of the republic… And falsifications of history?! They appear not just like that — it everything is prepared and fed in due time. So, all these acts put the southern elite in anti-Russian position frankly. Actually, it takes place to be.

- Products from Kyrgyzstan are appreciated very much, in particular. The same Kazakhstan willingly buys it …

- Kazakhstan lives on our products! And already Europe used to buy the meat from Kyrgyzstan. Germany, Belgium are interested in this market very much, as there are no complaints in respect of ecology. And today it is very important for Europeans.

We need to construct quicker the biological laboratory in the republic. We hope that we will be helped by Russia. There are such laboratories already in Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, but Americans built them. It isn’t necessary for us, as the question is about a dual purpose. In these laboratories they can generate and make preparations, do necessary analyses, but in the same place can make also bird flu and something else. Therefore Kyrgyzstan refused such laboratory.

— Recently there was a message in mass media that about 80 natives of Kyrgyzstan also participate in fights in Syria on the party of extremists. Is it the real fact?

- Now they are at war in Syria, and earlier they were at war in Afghanistan and even were in Chechnya. For example, Dooronbek Sadyrbayev, the film director, poet and writer, was an adviser at Saddam Hussein and Dzhokhar Dudayev. So, there are different persons… But they don’t pose real threat to the republic.

And in this sense I want to tell the following: the cultural educational program of Russia in our republic well influences the consciousness of our citizens, will reanimate our former relations. And I think that it is advisable to increase all this still! It would be very healthy both for Kyrgyzstan and for Russia.
